Welcome to Carramar Public School
* Carramar Public School has a very positive school climate – a warm, caring atmosphere exists from the front office and throughout the school.
* The students at Carramar come from a wide range of backgrounds (87% Non English Speaking Background) and are very accepting of each other and work harmoniously trying to achieve their personal best. We are currently using the Raise Responsibility program to help the children learn to become responsible for their own behaviour choices.
* Students participate in the Lansdowne Zone Primary Schools Sports Association competitions. This provides a great opportunity for our talented athletes to compete with other talented students. A number of teams have been successful in winning premierships.
* The teaching staff is a good mix of experience and youth. The staff work very well together, sharing ideas and engaging in professional development activities in order to achieve improved student learning outcomes.
* Carramar Public School has extensive playground areas and numerous established trees. Our classrooms are all well resourced and this includes air conditioners and interactive whiteboards. We are having a new library built and this will become our research hub.
